As a Vice President of Stroz Friedberg’s London Office, Mr. Rathour supervises and works on an active case load of digital forensics, electronic disclosure, and cybercrime investigations, involving the collection of electronic data in criminal, civil, regulatory, and internal corporate matters. He actively manages major international electronic disclosure matters and multi-national and multi-jurisdictional investigations for clients including Fortune 100 companies, national regulators, non-profit organisations, major law firms, and private individuals. His expertise includes the design and implementation of comprehensive compliance reviews, training programmes, and incident response and business continuity plans to secure infrastructure and key resources. Mr. Rathour also specialises in the supervision of multi-national and multi-jurisdictional digital forensics investigations involving data breaches, securities fraud, cybercrime, theft of intellectual property, authenticity and deletion of digital data, e-forgery and FCPA and Bribery Act violations. Mr Rathour is a trusted advisor to top executives, in-house lawyers, and outside counsel. Prior to joining Stroz Friedberg Mr. Rathour practised law in the Enforcement and Financial Crime Division of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).  In his role as a team lawyer he provided legal analysis and strategic advice on the conduct of enforcement investigations into some of the highest-profile firms and individuals in the financial sector.  Mr. Rathour has gained significant experience in managing the electronic disclosure process on a number of investigations and in drafting and responding to regulatory Information Requests, Skilled Persons Reports and Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act Requests. During his time at Morgan Lewis, Mr. Rathour assisted on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious commercial dispute resolution matters for a wide variety of clients including large multi-national banks, high net-worth private clients, charities, and international celebrities. He conducted investigations of claims involving hacking, electronic blackmail and IP theft by clients’ employees. He also assisted with international FCPA reviews and OFT and European Commission price fixing proceedings. He advised on legal issues and appropriate techniques to aid in electronic tracing of perpetrators, leading to discreet and successful resolution of clients’ concerns in most cases. Mr. Rathour received his Bachelor of Laws from Sheffield University and his Master of Laws in International Commercial Law at the University of Nottingham and the National University of Singapore.  He was previously qualified as a Barrister at the English Bar. He is a member of the Society for Computers and Law.
